To get things started on the right foot, remember that we warmly invite you to our Open House on Tuesday, August 27th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, explore their classroom, and get a sneak peek at the amazing year ahead. We will all meet promptly in the gymnasium to start the night. Dear Dedham School Families, It is my extreme pleasure to welcome you all to the 2024-2025 school year. I hope you are enjoying a fun, relaxing, and memorable summer. My name is Larry Clement, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Dedham School. Going into my tenth year as a building principal and a total of twenty-eight years in education, I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with the Dedham community. Since joining the Dedham team this summer, I have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people, and I am eager to get to know each and every one of you. The Dedham School and its community is known to be an amazing place and I concur! What have I discovered thus far? Our teachers are exemplars of dedication, care, and professionalism. They set high expectations across all dimensions for academic achievement, behavioral standards, and citizenship, all-the while ensuring that each child is not only challenged to reach their full potential but also guided in developing strong character and responsibility. Our entire staff possess an unwavering passion for our students and community. Coupled with the tremendous partnership and teamwork from such a supportive community, sky’s the limit on the successes we will achieve this year. Communication between the school and our families will begin to flow quite regularly in just a few weeks. AOS 47 Good afternoon. I hope you are enjoying your summer. This message is being sent to let you know that the Dedham School will be having police training at our facility tomorrow Thursday July 18, 2024. We wanted to ensure you knew ahead of time and that there is no cause for concern.

Today's baseball game will be played on Tuesday, May 28th at Veazie. 3:30 start. Go Demons!

Due to the impending thunderstorms rolling through later today, the baseball game at Veazie has been postponed till next week. We are working to figure out an agreed upon date. Thanks.

Good luck to Mason and Belle in today's Almquist Invitational Track Meet in Old Town! Mason will compete in the 100m, 4 x 100m relay, and the Long Jump. Belle will be competing in the 800m. Go Demons!

The Dedham Baseball and Softball teams will be hosting All-Saints in games beginning at 3:30. They'll be an 8th grade player recognition at 3:20 for the softball team and at the end of the baseball game for our 3 8th grade boys. Go Demons!

Dedham School is still accepting registrations for Prek and Kindergarten for school year 2024/25. You can pick up registration forms at the school office. If you have any questions, our number is 843-6498!

The Dedham Softball Team is at Holbrook today for a game at 3:30. The Baseball Team is home vs. Holbrook at 3:30. Go Demons!

AOS #47 The Airline, Dedham and Orrington School Departments: Due to worsening storm conditions, AOS 47 schools are moving from a 2-hour delay to a full school day cancellation today, March 21, 2024.

Boys' Basketball and Cheering awards are tonight in the gym at 6:00. Players and families are invited to attend.

The Girls' Basketball Team will hold their awards night tonight in the gym from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Players and families are invited to attend to celebrate another terrific season!
